CHANLLENGE
The project faced multiple challenges due to the diverse warehouse types, including single-story warehouses, multi-story warehouses, and shallow round storage silos. Accurate monitoring was required for stored grains throughout operational processes such as inbound and outbound handling. Additionally, measurement accuracy needed to meet stringent national standards, with errors kept below 2%.
SOLUTION
The system is composed of three integrated components: hardware, algorithms, and a business display interface.
Data Acquisition: Using 3D laser scanning technology, the system performs full-coverage, rapid scanning of grain stacks to capture precise three-dimensional coordinates of their shapes.
Algorithm: Business logic is fully digitized. Proprietary bulk grain volume algorithms calculate the volume of grain stacks adaptively, while a custom density model—considering factors such as grain type, warehouse type, filling height, storage duration, and ventilation frequency—automatically determines real-time inventory levels and internal warehouse status.
Integration and Display: Results are intelligently presented according to operational needs, automatically generating standardized inspection records in compliance with national requirements.
RESULT
Measurement accuracy of approximately 1.1%, well below the national 2% standard.
Automated generation of standardized inventory reports.
Real-time alerts for any abnormal changes in stock levels.
Integrated camera monitoring for personnel tracking, positioning, and safety supervision within warehouses.
